Ingredients
For 4 people ()
Recipe
- 400 mL cream (up to 30% fat)
- 2 teaspoon(s) gelatin
- 3 tablespoon(s) water
- cup(s) strawberry crush
- cup(s) sugar, plus 2 tbsp
10-Minute Strawberry Mousse Directions
- Soak the gelatin in water till it swells up or absorbs all the water.
- Mix sugar and cream. To it, add the gelatin and water mixture and heat over a double boiler, stirring gently till the gelatin dissolves. Remember to dissolve the gelatin into the cream mixture over a double boiler only. If melted over direct heat, the gelatin will taste funny in the final product.
- To this, add the strawberry crush and whisk on medium speed for 3 minutes.
- Sieve the mixture (to remove pieces of gelatin) into attractive dessert glasses or bowls and let it set by refrigerating it for 4 hours.
- Decorate with fresh strawberries and chocolate chips.
