- multigrain bread
- 1/3 cup(s) pizza or pasta sauce
- 2 teaspoon(s) pizza seasoning
- 2 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 onion, small, sliced in rounds
- 1/2 capsicum, sliced in thin rounds
- mozzarella sliced thinly
Quick Pizza Sandwich Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Butter the slices, sprinkle with pizza seasoning and toast for 3 minutes in an oven at 200 degrees Celsius or on a griddle.
- Mix the rest of the seasoning into the pizza or pasta sauce. Apply over the cooled bread slices.
- Cover each slice with sliced onions, capsicum and cheese.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes till the cheese melts and browns.
- Slice diagonally and serve.
